Who We Are and What We Do – Become a Member to Make Our Village Great

The Eastwood Village Council (EVC) is an all-volunteer organization open to every resident that lives within Eastwood Neighborhood Area and every property or business owner that operates or serves Eastwood residents. The Eastwood Village Council’s executive board has approved our advocacy/membership area to include property from Aiken Road and Long Run Park to the north, Taylorsville Road to the south and Floyd’s Fork and Shelby County line to the west and east respectively. Anyone in our membership area may vote at our annual meeting for board members representing them on the Eastwood Village Council Executive Board, which meets on the second Tuesday of every month at the Eastwood Fire Station. The meetings are at 6:30 and open to the public.

Anyone living or operating a business in the membership area can support the EVC by paying a $25 tax-deductible membership fee per house or $50 or $100 per business for an annual membership fee, based on the number of employees less than or greater than 10. HOA’s and businesses residing outside of the membership area can become sponsors of the EVC at the recommended tax-deductible rate of $100. Memberships and sponsorships are welcome at any time and are effective for the current year if paid before the November annual meeting.

Anyone interested in the future development of our community is invited to support the Eastwood Village Council through membership or sponsorships. Any tax deductible contributions enables the Eastwood Village Council to advocate for the design standards, land use, infrastructure and transportation improvements and the recreational open spaces that enhances Eastwood’s sense of place and quality of living.
